Miss Polonia Connecticut

About Us

Welcome to Miss Polonia CT Website. This website is designed for contestants to learn what the pageant is all about. Our history with beauty pageants started in 2003 when, as a husband and wife team, we produced our first Miss Polonia CT 2004 Pageant under a liscence of Miss Polonia LLP Organization. That first year Miss Polonia took place in Arkadia, formerly known as stokrotka in New Britain. After that year we moved the pageants to Polish National Home in Hartford.

Each year the state director recruits a number of volunteers and talents to help in organizing the pageant. A lot of work goes into organizing the event. On average, 25 to 40 people participate in various tasks. We use local talent for entertainment, previous years contestants as coaches, and choreography is prepared and staged by beautiful Monique Manczuk, former model director at the school of John Casablanca's Modeling.

Miss Polonia's mission is to choose a winner each year that will represent our Polish community and take part in helping it grow. The winner is allowed to take part in Miss Polonia USA in New York a week later. If this turns out to be something you become truly interested in, you are eligible to go on to Miss World and Miss Universe Pageants.

We are now seeking Miss Polonia 2014 contestants. The requirements are: ages 16-27, must be at least a high school senior, be of polish descent, single (never married), and residing in CT. This year we are also recruiting males for Mr Polonia, who may also sign up on this website. Requirements for males are: ages 18-30,of polish descent, single (never married), and residing in CT.
